ABOUT US, A brief History of Sweet Rick's Candy & Fudge Shop

Sweet Rick's specializes in Chocolates that are hand made, hand molded, or hand dipped in our own shop in Rock Hall, Maryland. We also make our own fudge with real butter and cream. To complement our line of chocolates and fudge, we also carry cookies, books, mugs, T-shirts, etc. that are chocolate oriented. Sweet Rick's Candy and Fudge Shop has been in business for over 10 years. It started with a few chocolate candies made for friends as presents and has grown to a full size business. Our first store was opened in 1999. It was located in an area called Oyster Court. Oyster court was a conclave of 6-8 shops featuring hand made and hand crafted items.

In 2000, we moved to our new store located at 5797 Main St., Rock Hall, Maryland. It already seems to be too small. If you are not able to visit our store, please visit our ON-LINE STORE.

Sweet Rick's Chocolates are made in our shop in Rock Hall, Maryland. We use Wilbur's chocolate and Renaissance III sugar free chocolate. Most products can be purchased in milk, dark, or white chocolate. We use only fresh ingredients and guarantee that our products are fresh. If you do not see an item, just ask. We would be happy to try to make it for you.

Most of our chocolates can be purchased in 4oz bags, 1/2 & 1 lb boxes, gift and specialty boxes. Our products include chocolate covered cherries, and caramels; coconut bon bons and clusters; cups, clusters, and bark. We also make our own chocolate lollipops. Many of them are hand colored, especially the Disney characters. Some items (mostly lollipops) are sold only at shows due to their fragile nature.

It is with much sadness that we announce the closing of our store on Main street in Rock Hall, Maryland. We will continue to make our chocolates and fudge for shows and special events.
